TerraOil

“TerraOil ” the result of a three-point goal that I visualized four years ago-
the goal had to satisfy three requirements:
-
Profitable
-
Systematizable And Delegatable
-
Beneficial to the environment and society
In my opinion the two most Systematized organizations in the world are; McDonald’s and the U.S. Navy. They are probably also the most effective organizations in the world. I decided that McDonald’s is more likely to be in a position to help me accomplish my three-point goal. So I studied… and I watched… and I looked for opportunities to satisfy my goal. I realized that if I were able to increase quality of waste vegetable oil so there was an effective feedstock for ASTM quality bio diesel and I would be able to help them save a lot of money and to get a lot of positive PR. Additionally I would also achieve my goals-one thing I’ve learned in life is that trying to help other people get what they want is the easiest way to get what you want.
If McDonald’s Canada were to use our technology in Canada they would save approximately $20 million per year in fuel costs, additionally they Would receive priceless PR benefits Based upon the goodwill generated from recycling a waste product for fuel. This 20 million Dollarsis only in relationship to the Canadian McDonald’s and many other McDonald’s through the world would be able to obtain significant benefits if they were to utilize our reprocessing technology.
It’s been my dream to be able to make a profit while helping the environment and society.
By adding value to The bio diesel feedstock stream - the potential Exists to make a profit while helping the environment and society. It’s a huge goal,- However after doing three years worth of research I know that it is definitely possible-especially if one takes the time to see things from the viewpoint of all stakeholders.
A Waste Vegetable Oil Bio diesel System has many stakeholders:
-
the restaurants
-
the restaurants employees
-
the vegetable oil industry
-
the rendering industry
-
the feedstock transportation industry
-
the bio diesel production industry
-
the petroleum product distribution chain
-
the automobile manufacturersIndustry
-
the Delivery vehicle drivers ,owners and managers
-
The delivery vehicle maintenance organization
-
Federal and provincial/State government agencies that are responsible for fuel and road tax.
There are other stakeholders as well but this is a general overview of the numbers of stakeholders involved.
Knowing how to make a system like this work while understanding each stakeholders specific agendas is time-consuming and labor-intensive. Having spent the last three years devoted to this undertaking I can truthfully say that I am an expert in this field.
Berries Berries Berries
July 14, 2009
In the Pacific Northwest there Are a number of different types of berries. The first berry to appear is the salmon berry. Usually it starts producing new new leaves or shoots ( which are known to be Edible) In March or April soon afterwards beautiful flowers appear within a few weeks of the flowers appearing Some berries begin To form—They look similar to Raspberries– however if you wait until they are red like a raspberry until you Eat them then they are way overdone –In fact they will be bitter. They should be and when they are the color of salmon. That’s how they get their name. As we live on a mountain spring comes later as you move up the mountain-so the first Berry available to the Bears Is the salmon berry and if the eat the salmon berries and slowly move up the hill they will ripen as they move up the hill.
The next Berry to ripen at sea level Is the huckleberry is a red berry which is a member of the blue Berry family ( vaccium ) And is distinguishable by its extremely Square stem the stem is so square that you can feel it clicking If you roll it between your fingers—In fact all members of the vaccium family Have some square like nature to their stems It is A distinguishing characteristic of the genus—Though most perceptible with the huckleberry. There are literally thousands upon thousands of huckleberry plants per acre in the lower levels of the coastal rain forest on the North Shore of Vancouver .The location of the Berry on the underside of the leaves Makes it very easy for a bear to scrape the berries using his claws– in fact I have a berry picker which is very similar in design to bear claws I believe that this is an example of co-evolution the plant and the animal are dependent upon one another the vast numbers of berry plants throughout the coastal rainforest a result of the Bears leaving scat as fertilizer Laden with seeds. Also you’ll find many tree stumps with huckleberries growing out of the tops I believe these are the result of birds eating the berries and doing their business on top of a tree stump.
The next berry to ripen
in the succession is the salal Berry–
is
a wonderful berry that covers the forest floors and grows and clumps of 4 to 10 berri
es on A Stick. I believe this berry has a lot of pectin In it. It is very good for mixing with other berries for jam. It also tastes Delicious by itself Kind of “mealy “ But slightly sweet.

Granville Island Market Place
March 25, 2008
Granville Island Is a huge public market located underneath the Granville street bridge just south of downtown Vancouver .
From Granville island you can access to many very interesting attractions via the Aqua bus (small ferries that carry up to twelve or so people ).
At Granville island there are many shops, artist studios as well as the world famous “Kids Market”
Additionally there are musicians, magicians ,jugglers ,thousands of Sea Gulls, as well as people from all over the world .The marketplace itself is a veritable rainbow of multiculturalism .
It’s almost useless to try to describe it because it is so amazing you just have to see it .
Some of the attractions that you can access via the Aquabus are the Marine Museum and the Science Center . .
Just past the Marine Museum there is the “Dog Beach”- the first in a series of beautiful beaches that connect DownTown with UBC at Wreck Beach : ) - While at UBC Check out the “Museum of Anthropology “—Well worth it !
If you have a bike this is an amazing day trip that will show you are real part of the Local Vancouver. Be sure to do it on Tuesday as the “Museum of Anthropology” is open late that day ( till 9)- Check with translink tripplanner and you should be able to throw your Bike on the front of the Bus and make it an easy trip home : ).
