NorthVan Green Tours (*Now Vancouver Eco Tours) is all about connection… as in connecting guests to the lush landscape of the North Shore and the magnificent convergence of mountain, forest and sea. Only this tour is one that takes its mode of transport from its surroundings, and they mean that literally.

Powered on vegetable oil recycled from local restaurants, guests tour Deep Cove, Lynn Canyon, even Grouse Mountain if desired, by van – all without clogging the atmosphere. The van stops and starts its engine thanks to diesel fuel, but relies on veggie oil as its main source for mobility. The cost per tour: $35/adults and $20/children.
